3. How do I get started?

If you’re happy with the work done during the 25 complimentary hours, then you are welcome to continue using our services and become a paying customer. Even if you choose not to continue, you keep the work produced – no cost, no obligation.

5. What’s the company’s history and size?
With leadership that has been with us since day one and a 100+ member team, you get a stable, experienced partner you can count on.
Tender Software began in 2007 when our founder, Brent Crysell, personally traveled to India and hired our first developer to serve Australian clients. That very first developer is now our COO, and we’ve grown from a single developer to a team of over 100 developers and designers.
Tender expanded to serve clients in the United States and Canada in 2016, and expanded again to serve clients in the UK and EU in 2022.
6. How are projects billed?
For projects that have a defined and well-documented scope, in most cases Tender can provide a fixed-price bid.
For projects that are more open-ended, use cutting edge or experimental technology, or when a customer simply prefers hourly-basis billing, clients enjoy transparent, verifiable billing through metering software that tracks every hour of work.
Tender can also provide a dedicated developer full-time on a staff augmentation basis, in which case you gain a dedicated developer who functions like your own employee, giving you full management authority and day-to-day control.
No matter which billing model you choose, you save significantly compared to hiring locally.

8. How are projects managed and maintained?
Clients get the flexibility to work the way they prefer, whether highly structured or casual. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and ability to work with a variety of customer-centric approaches.
Tender’s recommended approach is to use a structured project management tool such as Jira or Trello, but we know many clients prefer a lighter-touch approach. We adapt to your preferred way of working – whether via project management tools, or collaborating via meetings, emails, and phone calls. (In at least one case a client even sent us photos of project specs written on the back of a napkin.)
We also recommend documenting project specifications whenever possible. (We can provide sample specification templates upon request.)
